Switzerland's large cuisine culture
Eating in Switzerland is an excellent way of tasting various cuisines from it's neighbouring countries France, Germany and Italy. You have all three gathered in one country. But that's not all, in the past decades Swiss cuisine has gained a lot of diversity through immigrants coming from the whole world and importing their cooking traditions. So you will be able to find a cuisine for any taste ranging from arab to thai, going through greek or even inidian.

The most well-known overseas Swiss dish is rösti, which actually is made of shredded and fried potatoes and sometimes mixed with bacon or cheese. In the French cantons, the most favourite dishes are fondue and raclette, which are both composed mostly of melted Swiss cheese with various side dishes.

Just click on a region in the map above to browse through our selection of finest restaurants, bars, cafés and lounges in Switzerland. We provide you with restaurants and bars from Basel, Geneva, Bern, Lucerne and Ticino. Take a break and sip a nice coffee or enjoy a good Swiss meal.
