| Famous Swiss specialities |
| One of the most well-known Swiss dishes is Rösti, which is made of shredded and fried potatoes, sometimes mixed with bacon or cheese. In the French-speaking cantons (i.e. the Romandie region) the most favourite dishes are La Fondue and La Raclette. Both specialities involve molten Swiss cheese accompanied by various side dishes, like bread, potatoes, gherkins and pickled onions. |
