Einstein's House
Krammgasse 49 in Bern, that's where Albert Einstein and his young family lived from 1903 to 1905. As he says himself, this was his happiest and most fruitful period in his life where he developed his relativity theory. Later on, his humble apartment was restored in the style of the time and transformed into a museum open to the public. His flat is located on the second floor of the house and can be easily reached as it is located in the center of the city. Upstairs, you will be able to watch a short biographical film about the world's most famous scientist.

Museum of Communication
This museum is a travel through the early stages, present and future of telecommunication and communication in general. There are 3 permanent exhibitions called «so near and yet so far: People and their Media» overviewing the development of communication, «As Time Goes By: Computing and Digital Culture» which is an introduction into new media and «Imagery that Sticks: The World of Stamps», narrating exciting stories about the usage of postal stamps.

Paul Klee Center
Paul Klee (1879-1940) was a multi-talented person who devoted his life to arts, music, teaching and writing poems. He is actually one of the 20th century's most significant artists and spent more than half of his life in Bern. The Paul Klee Center is more than a simple museum, it is a monument of international renown for itself and is dedicated to the artist. The contemporary building is already an eye-catcher and regroups more than 40 per cent of the Paul Klee's work so that it is considered the biggest collection of a single artist of world renown. Furthermore the center has a children's museum for the small ones aged from 4 and over to take a glimpse into the world of art.

Swiss Alpine Museum
This is Switzerland's single and unique museum about the history of Alpine mountains as well as cartography. The ground floor focuses on alpine nature, glaciers, geology, vegetation and fauna which will give you an overview of mountain reliefs. The second floor concentrates on the cultivated alpine landscape with topics such as agriculture, cartography, tourism and winter sports. In addition, the museum collects and exposes objects and artworks related to the world of mountains.
